Luggage transfer

Even when you travel by bike, your luggage still needs to reach the next destination. If you have not booked a radial tour, we are happy to take care of that for you. We also focus on making our luggage transport as efficient as possible. Routes are carefully planned, unnecessary journeys are avoided wherever possible, and our drivers use fuel-efficient driving techniques to help reduce CO₂ emissions. Whenever feasible, we work with transport companies that operate electric vehicles or offset their carbon emissions. Some of our tours are deliberately offered only on selected arrival dates rather than every day. This allows us to bundle luggage transfers, optimise transport routes, and reduce the environmental impact of each journey.

Arrival and departure

Many of our tours are easily accessible by train, making it simple to start your holiday in an environmentally friendly way. We also provide helpful information on how to get from the railway station to your first hotel, ensuring your journey begins as smoothly and sustainably as possible. For many tours, we also offer return transfers to the starting point. You and your bike will be picked up directly from your final hotel and transported back in a comfortable minibus with a bicycle trailer. Whenever possible, we combine transfers for several guests to help minimise CO₂ emissions. In addition, we often use these return transfers to deliver bicycles for upcoming tours and combine the return journey with luggage transport. This helps us avoid unnecessary empty trips and use our transport resources as efficiently as possible.

These tours are designed to keep CO₂ emissions as low as possible. This includes radial tours, where no daily luggage transfers are required. It also includes tours that are offered on selected arrival dates rather than every day, allowing luggage transfers to be combined efficiently and unnecessary duplicate journeys to be avoided. By optimising transport routes in this way, resources are used more efficiently, emissions are reduced, and the overall environmental footprint of your holiday is kept to a minimum.
