What is your perfect travel destination?

Spring – a new beginning and first days of sunshine

February and March
Have you had enough of the wet and cold winter in Central Europe and are longing for some sun? Then the south is just the place for you.
The legendary Cape St. Vincent – the southwesternmost point of Europe – awaits you at the Algarve. You will cycle along the Atlantic coast, accompanied by Mediterranean panoramas, through the Ria Formosa Nature Park to the Guadiana River, which forms the border between Portugal and Spain.

April and May
Winter is retreating, nature is awakening – perfect conditions for the first bike tours in Germany.
In Emsland and along the Hase and Ems rivers, you start in Rheine, cycle to Osnabrück with its charming half-timbered old town and follow the Hase to Meppen. Through fields, meadows and small forests, you return to your starting point at a leisurely pace.

Summer – enjoyment, water and wide open spaces

June
In summer, the Moselle Valley shows itself from its most beautiful side. Lush vineyards, sunny river bends and a pleasant breeze accompany you as you cycle.
Treat yourself to a break in Zeltingen or Treis-Karden and enjoy highlights such as a ride in a nostalgic VW bus through the vineyards or an atmospheric wine wall dinner.

July
Beach, sea and fresh air – what more could you want on hot July days?
Discover the East Frisian islands with trips to Borkum, Norderney and Langeoog. The mainland is also impressive: picturesque Greetsiel with its crab fishing harbour, Leybucht with, if you're lucky, seal sightings, the Ocean Wave water park or the famous beach at Norddeich.

August
If you are looking for peace and quiet and want to escape the hustle and bustle of the holiday season, you will find your summer retreat in the Lahn Valley.
Cycle leisurely along the mysterious Lahn River through flowering meadows, fields and forests. In between, small half-timbered towns, castles and palaces await – perfect for those who prefer to enjoy the summer in peace and quiet.

Autumn – colours, wide open spaces and soft light

September
A real highlight for cycling enthusiasts: the Münsterland region – one of the most cycle-friendly regions in Germany.
Magnificent castles, vast forests, small towns and green parklands, criss-crossed by narrow paths and quiet roads. Located between the Netherlands, Emsland, the Ruhr area and the Teutoburg Forest, Münsterland shows itself at its most beautiful in autumn.

October
When it gets cooler in Germany, the south beckons with its mild climate.
Beyond the Alps, the Mediterranean flair of Lake Garda awaits. Discover towns such as Sirmione, Bardolino, Garda and Torbole, located directly on the lake. Between olive groves and vineyards, you will not only experience beautiful landscapes, but also the culinary highlights of the region.

Winter – special travel ideas

While frost and snow set in across Central Europe, a very special time begins for creative cycle tourists.
A real insider tip: Madeira. The island is a natural beauty all year round – with lush gardens, unusual plants, a mild climate and spectacular views. Perfect for anyone who doesn't want to give up cycling in winter.
