Whether strolling through magnificent piazzas or admiring medieval architecture, culture and history are omnipresent. At the same time, a fascinating natural backdrop awaits you: rolling hills, vineyards, and idyllic landscapes frame your excursions. Highlights

Marostica
Marostica, a picturesque town at the foot of the Venetian Prealps, is famous for its living chess game with real human figures, which takes place every two years in Piazza degli Scacchi. The medieval town is surrounded by impressive city walls that lead up to the upper castle and offer magnificent views of the surrounding area.

Bassano del Grappa
Bassano del Grappa is famous for its imposing wooden bridge, Ponte degli Alpini, designed by Andrea Palladio, which offers magnificent views of the Brenta River. In the old town, lively piazzas, narrow streets, and historic palazzi invite you to stroll around. Also worth seeing are the Municipal Museum in the monastery of San Francesco and the picturesque arcades with cafés and shops. Don't miss a visit to one of the traditional distilleries, where you can taste the famous grappa that originated here.

Villa Contarini
Villa Contarini in Piazzola sul Brenta is one of the most important and impressive villas in Veneto. Originally built in the 16th century on behalf of the noble Contarini family, it was later expanded in the Baroque style and is now considered one of the largest Venetian country villas. The magnificent building impresses with its elegant façade, sumptuous halls, and ornate frescoes. Particularly worth seeing is the large music hall, whose exceptional acoustics were already famous in the 17th century. The villa is surrounded by a spacious park with old trees, canals, and romantic walking paths—a place that combines art, history, and nature.

Vicenza
Vicenza, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and home to the famous architect Andrea Palladio, delights visitors with architectural masterpieces such as the Basilica Palladiana in Piazza dei Signori, the unique Teatro Olimpico, and elegant palazzi. Villa La Rotonda is also one of the highlights. Between lively piazzas, charming cafés, and stylish shops, you can experience Italian flair at its finest.

Tour

Arrive at your leisure and enjoy the evening on the sun terrace or make use of the hotel's amenities. Start your vacation feeling relaxed.

Your first bike trip takes you through the gently rolling hills around Marostica. After a short climb, you'll be rewarded with a fantastic view of the region - a sight that will quickly make you forget your efforts. Along the route, numerous cherry trees line the path and invite you to stop for a quick snack. At lunchtime, a culinary break awaits you at the Trattoria “Caissa” in the heart of Marostica. This charming medieval town is famous for its unique “living chess game,” which is played in the main square. Afterwards, you cycle just a few kilometers back to the hotel and relax at the end of your first day of cycling.

At the start of today's stage, you will cycle leisurely towards Asolo. Before you reach the idyllic village with its Roman roots for your first break, you will have to tackle a slightly longer climb. Once you reach the top, you will be rewarded with magnificent views and continue your journey full of energy through the gently rolling hills until you reach Bassano del Grappa. Here, you will first enjoy a tasting at the Poli Grappa Museum before marveling at a world-famous attraction: the covered wooden bridge over the Brenta River, whose origins date back to the 13th century.

From nature to culture: today's route takes you through the scenic Brenta Nature Park. The relaxed pace gives you plenty of time to enjoy the peace and beauty of these surroundings to the full. A highlight of the day is a visit to the magnificent Villa Contarini - a true masterpiece of Venetian villa architecture that is not to be missed. For the return trip to the hotel, follow the course of the Brenta River once again, which will accompany you safely.

Today, your route takes you past vast cornfields on well-maintained paths through the flat countryside. Vicenza is well worth a stop, as it is home to the legacy of the famous architect Andrea Palladio. His masterpieces - the imposing basilica, the impressive Teatro Olimpico, and numerous elegant palazzi - dominate the cityscape and give Vicenza an incomparable atmosphere.

Today, you will cycle along charming paths into the wine-growing region of Breganze. More than 2,000 winegrowers produce a variety of red and white wines here that bear the protected DOC seal. Cabernet and Pinot Bianco are particularly popular - a treat you should not miss out on during a tasting. On the way back, dense rows of vines line your path and accompany you back to your accommodation.

Perhaps you have fallen in love with the region and don't want to leave. We can understand that. But today, after breakfast, your wonderful cycling tour in Veneto comes to an end.
