The MS Casanova sails under the Swiss flag. The furnishing style is reminiscent of rococo with playful details and reproduced paintings by famous artists. The 48 outside cabins are approx. 12 m² in size and are equipped with shower/WC, hairdryer, satellite TV, safe (deposit required), minibar and adjustable air conditioning. The 22 cabins on the main deck are equipped with panoramic windows that cannot be opened. The 2-bed Deluxe cabins are slightly more spacious than the Standard cabins.

All 26 cabins on the upper deck are equipped with a French balcony. The floor-to-ceiling windows can be opened. In the ECO cabins, which are located at the rear of the ship, engine and generator noises are audible. The panorama saloon invites you to relax with a glass of wine or a cocktail, while breakfast and dinner are served in the restaurant. On the sun deck, which can be reached via a steep staircase and is equipped with sun loungers and seating, you can relax after the day's excursions.

Tour

Arrive early, as Regensburg's old town (a UNESCO World Heritage Site) is well worth a visit. Start with the cathedral and the Steinerne Brücke (Stone Bridge). Can you find all 6,000 listed buildings in the city? Boarding is possible from 4:00 p.m.

In the morning, you leave Regensburg and follow the Danube Cycle Path to Kelheim, where the Altmühl and Danube rivers converge. The town's former prosperity is still evident today in its impressive Baroque buildings and the imposing Liberation Hall. After a break in this picturesque town, you cycle through the Altmühltal Nature Park with its rocks and castle ruins. Your destination for today is Riedenburg, a pretty little town with medieval charm.

Today's stage is quite short, leaving plenty of time to explore the fascinating nature and history of this part of the Altmühl Valley. Numerous information boards provide insight into the history and geology of the area. At the end of the day's stage, Beilngries awaits you, a pretty little town with winding streets and a baroque parish church.

In the morning, you will first cycle to Freystadt. Here you will have the opportunity to visit the baroque church “Maria-Hilf-Wallfahrtskirche.” Afterward, you will cycle along the Main-Danube Canal to Hilpoltstein.

First, follow the bike path through Rothsee National Park. After a short while, you will reach one of the oldest canals in the world: the historic Main-Danube Canal, which was built by King Ludwig I. In the afternoon, you will arrive in Nuremberg with its rich history and picturesque old town. Be sure to take time to visit the Imperial Castle.

Today, follow the Regnitz Cycle Route and leave the city behind as you cycle through the green Hallerwiesen meadows. Soon you will reach Fürth – a charming town that is well worth a stop. The route continues through picturesque river landscapes, where stately oak trees entwined with wild hops provide welcome shade. Today's stage ends in the Huguenot town of Erlangen, where the MS Casanova is already waiting for you.

Your last bike ride takes you through the meadows of the Regnitz Valley. Enjoy frequent breaks in one of the numerous beer gardens with a slice of cake or a refreshing beer. Be sure to stop in Forchheim, where a picturesque old town with a historic town hall awaits you. Your journey ends in Bamberg. The 1,000-year-old imperial city with its cathedral and impressive old town is the crowning finale of a beautiful and varied trip.

Today, your wonderful bike and boat trip from Regensburg to Bamberg ends after breakfast at 9:00 a.m. with disembarkation.

The planned route is always subject to possible changes due to nautical, meteorological or organisational reasons. If, for example, a route cannot be travelled due to low water, high water, bad weather or construction work, the captain reserves the right to change the route for your safety. This is not a legally valid reason for cancelling the trip free of charge. The same applies in the event of officially ordered lock or bridge repairs or in the event of engine or propulsion damage to the ship through no fault of the captain.

As your ship usually sails to the next harbour on the same day, your time frame for your own activities and sightseeing is limited. On some bridges, the clearance height is so low that the sun deck is closed for your safety.
