Cycling through three countries
The magnificent Lake Constance Cycle Route takes you around Lake Constance through Germany, Austria and Switzerland on mostly separate cycle paths with little traffic. The cycle route is well signposted and leads from Constance around the Untersee and Obersee lakes to Überlingen and beautiful Meersburg. Passing the pile dwellings of Unteruhldingen, the route leads to Friedrichshafen and the island of Lindau with its beautiful harbour promenade and cosy old town.
The Lake Constance Cycle Route leaves Germany at Bregenz. The map shows that the route through Austria is very short. In Switzerland, the cycle route mostly runs idyllically close to the shore until it arrives back in Constance. Your cycle tours will also take you to the famous flower island of Mainau, the island of Reichenau or the Rhine Falls near Schaffhausen. Discover Lake Constance on a classic round trip or, for added convenience and without having to pack your bags, on a radial tour. On our star-shaped cycle tours, the routes start and end at a hotel in Konstanz, yet you can still explore the whole of Lake Constance by bike and boat.
