From Donaueschingen to Passau

From its source near Donaueschingen to the three-river city of Passau in south-eastern Germany. The stretches of land along the German Danube are among the most beautiful river landscapes in Germany. In addition to numerous untouched floodplains, the famous Danube sinkhole near Mühlheim is also a highlight along the route. Above all, however, you will experience pure culture on your cycling tours, as there are many sights along the way. You will discover the art of blue dyeing in Blaubeuren, the impressive Ulm Minster with the highest church tower in the world, Ingolstadt, Kelheim, where the Altmühl flows into the Danube, and Regensburg with its beautiful old town. The Danube Cycle Path takes you almost entirely on flat, traffic-free terrain, mostly on separate cycle paths, to the old town of Passau, where the Inn flows into the Danube.
