Highlights

Rijeka
Located at the northern end of the famous Kvarner Bay, the city of Rijeka is the perfect starting point for your bike & boat trip through the Kvarner Bay. In addition to a pretty old town with historical sights, Rijeka has a medieval fortress and several beautiful promenades by the sea.

Insel Krk
Island Krk is the largest island in the Adriatic Sea. It is also known as Insula Aurea, or the Golden Island. Krk is known for its beautiful beaches and clear waters, but also for its karst landscapes and lush forests. The Krk wine region is known for the white wine variety Zlahtina, which is traditionally grown in the municipality of Vrbnik.

Island Rab
The Island Rab is one of the best known and most popular destinations for Germans and Austrians, offering amazing scenic diversity, beautiful beaches, cultural monuments from the pre-Roman period and much more.

Island Pag
The Island Pag is probably the most contrasting island in Croatia. Nowhere else in Croatia do scenic extremes meet so starkly. A place that polarizes people. It can be seen as Croatia's answer to Lanzarote.

Island Losinj
The Island Losinj is home to subtropical vegetation with palm trees, pines, agaves, oleanders, citrus trees, sage and lavender. With over 2500 hours of sunshine a year, which corresponds to around 300 cloudless or cloudless days, Losinj is one of the sunniest places in Europe.

Island Cres
The picturesque Island Cres in the Kvarner Bay is one of the most popular vacation destinations in Croatia with its pristine rocky coves, inviting pebble beaches and charming fishing villages. Together with the neighboring island of Krk, Cres is the largest island in the Adriatic.

The motorsailer Kažimir, built in 1946, was completely renovated in 1999/2000, with all superstructures removed and the hull completely hollowed out. This created space and comfort so that passengers can feel completely at ease. Between 2016 and 2019, the ship underwent another renovation to keep it up to date. In 2020, the ship was given a new color along with new planking of the entire hull. The 39m-long MS Kažimir has a 150 m² sun deck with sun loungers and tables with benches on deck,

as well as a new lounge area in front of the wheelhouse and at the stern of the upper deck. There is space for 36 people in the air-conditioned saloon. The cabins are located on the main and upper decks. On the main deck there are 6 triple cabins with a French bed and an extra bed above and 2 double cabins with a French bed and on the upper deck there are 4 double cabins with a French bed and 3 double cabins with bunk beds.

Tour

The journey to Rijeka is on your own and embarkation takes place between 11.00 and 12.00 in the port of Rijeka. You will be welcomed by the tour guide with a welcome drink and snack. In the afternoon, the ship will take you to Njivice on the island of Krk, where you will start your first bike tour. From Njivice you set off on a circular tour to Krk, the main town on the island.

After breakfast, today begins with a cycle tour inland to Čižići and on to the old town of Vrbnik, which is situated on a rock high above the coast. The climb is rewarded with a fantastic view! After your lunch break, cycle on towards Krk. Your boat is already waiting in the harbor there.

Today begins with a boat trip to Lopar in the north of the island of Rab. Here the bike tour begins via Supetarska Draga and Kampor to Rab with its four bell towers. After lunch on board, you will visit the Kalifront forest park. In the evening, you can take part in a guided tour of Rab and have dinner in a restaurant in the town.

Today, your boat will take you to the town Lun on the northern tip of the island of Pag, an island full of contrasts: Sometimes barren landscapes, sometimes lush green meadows where sheep frolic. In the morning you go on an exciting cycle tour to Novalja and in the afternoon you cycle via Kolan to Mandre, where the boat is already waiting for you.

On the four-hour crossing to Mali Lošinj on the island of Lošinj, you can enjoy the sun and the passing landscapes in the air-conditioned saloon or on the sun deck. Today's bike tour takes you through extensive pine forests around Čikat Bay and through Sunčana Uvala (Sun Bay) to Veli Lošinj. It is only a few kilometers back to Mali Lošinj and its beautiful harbour, where you will spend the night. End the day with a walk through the alleys of the harbor town and the wide promenade.

Today you will get to know two islands at once - thanks to the lift bridge you can cycle from Lošinj to Osor on the island of Cres, where a wonderful cycle tour awaits you via Belej and Vrana to Cres, the island capital of the same name. The afternoon is free for you to visit Cres or cycle to one of the beaches in the area.

On your last day on the bike, you first cycle from the harbour along the sea to the green lantern on the south side of the harbour entrance. You then cycle through the town of Cres to the north side of the harbour entrance to the red lantern and along the sea back to the ship. Your last lunch awaits you on board before your ship sets sail for the last time towards Rijeka. On the way, you can take another dip in the wonderful waters of the Adriatic and reflect on your holiday and the hours spent on the bike, the boat and the fascinating landscape.

Today your bike & boat trip through the Kvarner Bay ends after breakfast. Let the kitchen crew spoil you one last time before disembarking at 09:00. Afterwards you will start your individual journey home or transfer to the airport.

The planned route is always subject to possible changes due to nautical, meteorological or organisational reasons. If, for example, a route cannot be travelled due to low water, high water, bad weather or construction work, the captain reserves the right to change the route for your safety. This is not a legally valid reason for cancelling the trip free of charge. The same applies in the event of officially ordered lock or bridge repairs or in the event of engine or propulsion damage to the ship through no fault of the captain.

As your ship usually sails to the next harbour on the same day, your time frame for your own activities and sightseeing is limited. On some bridges, the clearance height is so low that the sun deck is closed for your safety.
