Requirements
The cycling stages require participants to have a certain basic level of fitness, which regular cyclists have generally acquired. The routes are between 340 and 740 meters high. The daily stages of 20 - 55 km lead through hilly and mountainous terrain and are cycled without time constraints. Steeper or longer climbs are also to be mastered, but pushing is permitted. The tour guides will inform you in good time.
The roads are mostly asphalted and not very busy outside the vacation periods. Decide for yourself each day whether you want to cycle individually according to the maps or join one of the two tour guides.
Instead of a cycle tour, you can also take a half or full day of swimming on the boat. Helmets are compulsory for children under the age of 18 on the cycle tours. For safety reasons, we generally recommend wearing a helmet.
Children
Due to the challenging stages, we do not recommend this tour for children.
Up to the age of 13 years and in a triple cabin with 2 full-paying adults, we grant a 50% discount for children. From 14 - 17 years there is a 20% discount for children. Triple cabins are only available on the lower deck.
