Highlights

Rijeka
Located at the northern end of the famous Kvarner Bay, the city of Rijeka is the perfect starting point for your bike & boat trip through the Kvarner Bay. In addition to a pretty old town with historical sights, Rijeka has a medieval fortress and several beautiful promenades by the sea.

Insel Krk
Island Krk is the largest island in the Adriatic Sea. It is also known as Insula Aurea, or the Golden Island. Krk is known for its beautiful beaches and clear waters, but also for its karst landscapes and lush forests. The Krk wine region is known for the white wine variety Zlahtina, which is traditionally grown in the municipality of Vrbnik.

Island Rab
The Island Rab is one of the best known and most popular destinations for Germans and Austrians, offering amazing scenic diversity, beautiful beaches, cultural monuments from the pre-Roman period and much more.

Island Pag
The Island Pag is probably the most contrasting island in Croatia. Nowhere else in Croatia do scenic extremes meet so starkly. A place that polarizes people. It can be seen as Croatia's answer to Lanzarote.

Island Losinj
The Island Losinj is home to subtropical vegetation with palm trees, pines, agaves, oleanders, citrus trees, sage and lavender. With over 2500 hours of sunshine a year, which corresponds to around 300 cloudless or cloudless days, Losinj is one of the sunniest places in Europe.

Island Cres
The picturesque Island Cres in the Kvarner Bay is one of the most popular vacation destinations in Croatia with its pristine rocky coves, inviting pebble beaches and charming fishing villages. Together with the neighboring island of Krk, Cres is the largest island in the Adriatic.

The motorsailer Kažimir, built in 1946, was completely renovated in 1999/2000, with all superstructures removed and the hull completely hollowed out. This created space and comfort so that passengers can feel completely at ease. Between 2016 and 2019, the ship underwent another renovation to keep it up to date. In 2020, the ship was given a new color along with new planking of the entire hull. The 39m-long MS Kažimir has a 150 m² sun deck with sun loungers and tables with benches on deck,

as well as a new lounge area in front of the wheelhouse and at the stern of the upper deck. There is space for 36 people in the air-conditioned saloon. The cabins are located on the main and upper decks. On the main deck there are 6 triple cabins with a French bed and an extra bed above and 2 double cabins with a French bed and on the upper deck there are 4 double cabins with a French bed and 3 double cabins with bunk beds.

Tour

You will travel to Rijeka individually. You will board the ship in the port of Rijeka by 12:00 noon, where your tour guide will give you a warm welcome. In the afternoon, the ship will set sail for the island of Krk. From here, you will set off on your first bike tour, which will take you on a circular route to the town of Krk, the island's capital.

After a short crossing, the ship will take you to the island of Rab. From there, you will first cycle via Barbat to Pudarica Bay and then back to the town of Rab, where your ship will be waiting for you in front of the picturesque backdrop of the old town with its four striking bell towers for lunch. In the afternoon, you will cycle to the 1,400-hectare Kalifront Forest Park, where you can marvel at holm oaks that are up to 1,000 years old. A relaxing break in the idyllic “Love Bay” rounds off the excursion before you return to Rab. There, a guided tour of the town awaits you before you can end the evening in one of the cozy restaurants.

In just half an hour by boat, you can reach Lun, the northernmost point of the neighboring island of Pag. The island captivates visitors with its fascinating contrasts: while parts of the landscape resemble a barren lunar surface, elsewhere lush green herb meadows glisten, grazed by countless sheep – the suppliers of the famous Pag sheep's cheese. Your bike tour takes you to Novalja, the lively main town in the north of the island, where a break is planned. After lunch on board, the ship sets sail for an idyllic bay, perfect for a long swim break. The captain then sets course for the islands of Olib or Ilovik, where you will spend the night. The day ends on a high note with a festive captain's dinner on board.

Today you will head for the green island of Lošinj, which charms visitors with its mild climate, wonderfully fragrant pine forests, and long tradition as a health resort. After arriving at the port of Mali Lošinj, you will start your bike tour and discover the island's diverse nature. You will cycle along the coast around Čikat Bay and on through Sunčana Uvala (“Sunny Bay”) to the idyllic harbor town of Veli Lošinj before returning to Mali Lošinj. You can end the evening in one of the cozy local restaurants.

Today is the “day of two islands.” After breakfast, you will start your bike tour in Mali Lošinj and head towards Osor, where a swing bridge connects the islands of Lošinj and Cres. The tour continues through the villages of Belej and Vrana to the town of Cres, the island's capital. After lunch on board, the afternoon is yours to spend at your leisure – ideal for visiting one of the nearby beaches by bike or simply relaxing.

Your final bike tour starts right at the harbor and takes you along the coast to the “green lantern” at the southern entrance to Cres Bay. From there, you continue through the village to the red lighthouse on the north side before following the coastal path back to the ship. After lunch on board in Cres, the bikes are loaded for the last time. The ship then leaves the harbor and sets course for a bay in the north of the island. Here you have the opportunity to enjoy a last swim in the crystal-clear Adriatic Sea before the return trip to Rijeka begins. End the evening in one of the restaurants in Rijeka before spending your last night on board.

Today your bike & boat trip through the Kvarner Bay ends after breakfast. Let the kitchen crew spoil you one last time before disembarking at 09:00. Afterwards you will start your individual journey home or transfer to the airport.

The planned route is always subject to possible changes due to nautical, meteorological or organisational reasons. If, for example, a route cannot be travelled due to low water, high water, bad weather or construction work, the captain reserves the right to change the route for your safety. This is not a legally valid reason for cancelling the trip free of charge. The same applies in the event of officially ordered lock or bridge repairs or in the event of engine or propulsion damage to the ship through no fault of the captain.

As your ship usually sails to the next harbour on the same day, your time frame for your own activities and sightseeing is limited. On some bridges, the clearance height is so low that the sun deck is closed for your safety.
