Comfort ship MS Linda

The LINDA is a spacious wooden motor yacht. Built in 1955, she was renovated and extended in 2004/2005 especially for the needs of Island Hopping. At 31 m long and 6 m wide, she is one of the larger vessels in our Croatian fleet. The spacious saloon offers space for 32 guests and the middle sun deck is designed so that meals can also be taken outside. The upper deck offers plenty of space for sunbathing.
Three of the four cozy cabins below deck are equipped with separate beds and two portholes each, another with a French bed and a single berth, so that these cabins are also suitable for triple occupancy. Above deck there are ten double cabins, six of which have a French bed and four have separate beds. The Linda is equipped with air conditioning and all cabins have a shower/WC.
Tour
Individual arrival in Omisalj, a nice little harbor village on the island of Krk. If you’re planning to arrive by car, we will organise a safe parking space for you. The cabins on the motor yacht will be ready for you from 2 pm. At ca. 3 pm the ship will sail and take us to the island of Cres in about four hours. In the evening you can join a short walking tour through the old town of Cres with your guide.
After breakfast we start our tour from the city of Cres to Martinšćica. The boat awaits your arrival and lunch is served during the cruise to the island of Lošinj. If the weather is good, the captain will arrange a swim stop along the way before tying off in the harbor wellness town of Mali Lošinj. The port with its colourful facades and numerous cafes offers its visitors a welcoming atmosphere for a relaxed evening.
Along the seaside walk we cycle to the south of Losinj and visit the picturesque small harbour of Veli Losinj before we meet the ship for lunch. In the afternoon we cross over to the island of Molat, where we’ll do one more short bike tour. Overnight stay in the quiet harbour of Molat.
During breakfast the ship leaves Molat and takes us past many small islands to the "spice island" of Dugi Otok. Our bike tour starts in the bay of Božava which is surrounded by pine woods, agaves and tamarisk trees, and we ride on a road almost free of traffic. Our tour leads us at first to the northern most point of the island where the light house of Veli Rat stands proudly since 1849 fulfilling its duty in guiding sailors safely on their way. A ride along the islands “Road in the Sky” brings us to the peaceful harbor of Savar or Bribinj. There will be ample time for a swim break in the afternoon before your boat will bring you to Zadar, where you can visit the mighty fortress wall with its fortified towers, the Loggia and the early romantic St. Donatus Basikila. Overnight stay will be in Zadar.
Today you will reach the island of Pag. In the harsh but delightful landscape of the island we’ll come across many fig and olive trees. Over the centuries the inhabitants have built numerous stone walls for protection against the wind. We will bike on the narrow peninsula until we reach the sea where the ship will be waiting to take us to Rab. The island of Rab is one of the sunniest places in Europe and known for its wonderful landscape. The town of Rab, the fortified capital of the island, was built in the middle ages on a wedge shaped headland, and marks one of the highlights of the trip. The four famous bell towers are the symbol of the adorned beauty of the town. After dinner we can explore the narrow alleys with numerous cosy cafes.
We will bike along the coast to the east side of the island, an area with virtually no vegetation, whose rough and cliffy rocks remind us of a lunar landscape. The road will lead us to a bay with a sandy beach, which is rather atypical for the Kvarner islands. At lunchtime the ship will be waiting for us in the harbor directly in front of the old town of Rab. After a swim break the ship will take us to the neighboring island of Krk, where we’ll spend the evening in the historical town of Krk.
We will cycle over the ridge of the island, which is covered by fragrant macchia to a valley of vineyards and then onwards to the small museum town of Vrbnik in the northeast. The town, built on a 50-meter-high cliff and surrounded by vineyards, is the home of the famous white wine, Zlahtina. Another peculiarity that Vrbnik has to offer is the second narrowest alley in the world. The way will lead us across the island through old villages and rich vegetation to Omisalj, from where Rijeka will be within sight. On the way, we will have a chance to swim in the bay of Soline. We’ll spend the last night in Omisalj.
Disembarkation after breakfast until 9:00 am. We are happy to extend your vacation in Croatia.

Back in Labin, we enjoy a typical local lunch, freshly prepared with regional ingredients. Afterwards, we roll downhill back to Rabac, where our ship is already waiting. From here, we continue our journey to the island of Cres – more precisely, to the capital of the same name. The picturesque old town with its Venetian-influenced architecture invites you to stroll around in the evening. We spend the night in the harbor of Cres.
In the morning, you will start your first bike tour to Martinšćica. Here, your ship will be waiting for you for lunch and the trip to the island of Lošinj. On the way, you can take a refreshing break for a swim before reaching the old seafaring and spa town of Mali Lošinj with its large harbor basin, numerous cafés, and colorfully painted house facades.
The extensive promenade that winds its way along many picturesque bays takes you to the southernmost part of the island, where you can visit the picturesque town of Veli Lošinj. The small harbor with its numerous fishing boats is dominated by the mighty Church of St. Anthony. After lunch, the ship sets sail and takes you to the island of Ilovik, where you can end the day with a walk or a refreshing swim in the sea.
After the crossing, a varied round trip across the island of Rab awaits us. From the historic old town, we cycle through diverse landscapes – along picturesque coastlines, through cool forests and past hidden bays that invite you to linger.
Back at the ship, there is time to explore the charming town of Rab on your own before joining a guided tour and delving deeper into its history. We spend the night in the harbor of this enchanting old town.
In the morning, we reach the island's capital, Krk, with its charming old town and lively Mediterranean flair. From here, we set off on a varied round trip that takes us from the coast to the interior of the island, past vineyards, olive groves, and idyllic villages.
Back in Krk, we end the day in a relaxed manner: together with our guide, we stroll through the winding alleys and enjoy the evening with a cool drink in one of the cozy terrace bars right by the sea. We spend the night in the harbor of Krk.
Today's bike tour takes you over the fragrant macchia-covered ridge of the island into a wide valley full of vineyards – your destination is the picturesque town of Vrbnik in the northeast. Perched high on a cliff over 50 meters high, Vrbnik is surrounded by vineyards and is known as the home of the white Žlahtina wine. And if you're in the mood for a little adventure, you can try your hand at the second narrowest street in the world – a real highlight for anyone who likes to discover new things. Afterwards, you'll cycle across the island, past old villages and green vegetation, with views of the coastal town of Rijeka slowly approaching. The bay of Soline is a special place to stop off and enjoy a soothing mud bath. Back on board, your eventful journey comes to an end with a cozy dinner and an atmospheric final evening. You will spend the night in the harbor of Omišalj.

When booking your flight, please note that the ship usually departs from Omisalj at 3:00 p.m. (2026: 2:00 p.m.) and check-in is between 2:00 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. (2026: 1:00 p.m. and 1:30 p.m.). If you wish to book a flight that lands after 2:00 p.m. (2026: 1:00 p.m.), please contact us.
If you don't get any flight connections to Rijeka, you can also fly to Zagreb Airport. A shared transfer to Omisalj and back to the airport is offered here on the day of embarkation and disembarkation. A reservation stating the exact flight details is possible and required up to a maximum of 14 days before the start of the trip. Departure times to Omišalj (on the day of embarkation): from the airport
Arrival by car
In Omisalj, we will be happy to organize a secure long-term parking space for you on a private property directly at the port, subject to prior reservation, prices on request, payable locally upon arrival. If you have arrived at the port by car, please ask one of the tour guides at the ships. There is no insurance in Croatia that insures your vehicle against theft and burglary in the parking spaces provided by us. Damage of this kind is only covered by the local comprehensive insurance. However, since the beginning of our travels (1998) we have not received any reports of damage.
Arrival by train
If you want to travel by train, please note that there is no direct train connection to Omisalj. However, there is a good connection with the night train from Munich to Rijeka. On the day of embarkation, a shared transfer from Rijeka train station to Omisalj can be booked. This only applies to the night train, which arrives in Rijeka around 9:30 a.m. A transfer bus will then be waiting at the train station (if reserved in advance) for the onward journey to Omisalj (approx. 45 minutes). A shared transfer from Omisalj to Rijeka can also be booked early in the morning on the day of disembarkation. The transfer price is on request, the transfer is only bookable from 2 persons.
Available rental bikes
24-speed trekking bikes for women and men and 11-speed electric bikes are available. The bikes are each equipped with an Ortlieb pannier.
It is not possible to take your own e-bike with you due to safety regulations on the ships and to protect the health of the tour guide. If you would like to ride an e-bike, we are happy to offer it to you for booking.
Requirements
The cycling stages require a certain level of fitness from the participants, which regular cyclists should have acquired. The routes go up between 400 and 700 meters. The daily stages of 30 - 50 km lead through hilly and mountainous terrain and are cycled without time pressure. Steeper or longer gradients can also be mastered, but pushing is definitely allowed. The tour guides will inform you in good time.
The roads are mostly paved and rarely used outside of the holiday season. Decide for yourself every day whether you want to cycle individually using maps or join one of the two travel companions.
Instead of a bike tour, you can also spend half or a whole day bathing on the ship.
On this trekking bike tour, the guided group pace is based on the trekking cyclists. If you rent an e-bike on a trekking tour, you are asked to be considerate of those who ride without electronic support. Trekking riders need more time and breaks when riding uphill.
Catering
The accompanying cook is a member of the crew and prepares an extensive breakfast and one to two warm meals every day. Meals include 2 x full board and 5 x half board. Depending on the course of the tour, one or the other lunch meal can also consist of a packed lunch. The first meal begins with dinner on the day of embarkation and ends with breakfast on the day of disembarkation.
