premium ship San Snova
The wooden motor yacht San Snova was launched in spring 2009 exclusively for the island hopping cruises. The comfortably furnished guest cabins have a tasteful interior as well as air conditioning and shower/toilet. The wood-panelled saloon exudes a cozy atmosphere, which is underlined by the high-quality wooden furniture
on the outer decks and a spacious sunbathing area on the sun deck. The crew of the San Snova attaches great importance to a sparkling clean appearance of the ship and genuine cordiality on board. Come on board and enjoy the incomparable atmosphere of this special wooden ship.
tour
You travel individually by car to Trogir or by plane to Split. After checking in between 2:00 and 2:30 p.m., the ship departs and takes you to Rogoznica, where you spend the first night.
During breakfast, you cross over to the small coastal town of Vodice. Here you get on your bikes and cycle to the island of Murter, which is connected to the mainland by a lift bridge. You cycle through two old coastal villages and get back on board. You then take a trip through the Kornati National Park. Enjoy the view of the crystal-clear water, which is known for its rich underwater world. Once you arrive at your destination in Telašćica, take an evening stroll through the nature park along the island's impressive cliffs.
After breakfast you cycle from the Telašćica Nature Park on a panoramic road across the island. The views of the neighboring islands lying in the deep blue shimmering sea offer excellent photo opportunities. Your ship is waiting for you in Savar to take you to Zadar. Zadar has been the political, cultural and spiritual center of Dalmatia for centuries. Here your guide will lead you through the alleys of the old town. Discover 3000 years of history, the fortress wall with the defense towers, the loggia and the early Romanesque basilica of St. Donatus.
During breakfast, your boat will take you to the island of Ugljan on the Zadar Channel. Today's program includes the discovery of the two islands of Ugljan and Pašman. Both islands are connected by a bridge. You cycle along the coast and enjoy the beautiful views of the sea and the mainland opposite. In the afternoon, you continue by boat to Vodice.
In the morning, the boat follows the course of the Krka River back towards the sea and the town of Šibenik. Take the opportunity to explore the town, which impresses with the Cathedral of St. James, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the most beautiful sacral building on the Adriatic coast. Then continue your journey by boat to Primošten, from where you start today's cycle tour, first to Rogoznica and then back to Primošten.
During breakfast your ship will take you to the island of Ugljan on the Zadar Canal. Today's program is to explore the two islands of Ugljan and Pašman. Both islands are connected by a bridge. You always cycle along the coast and enjoy the beautiful views of the sea and the opposite mainland. In the afternoon you continue by ship to Primošten and end the day with a swim in the sea.
Your ship departs in the morning and takes you to the island of Šolta. The streetscape is characterized by walled fields, countless olive groves, carob and fig trees. But the island is not only a pleasure for the eyes: the smell of rosemary is in the air, a wonderful silence reigns on the island. You cycle the last few kilometers to the village of Grohote, deeply relaxed. At noon you board for the last crossing and drive back to Trogir. In the evening you still have enough time to stroll through the medieval old town. Traditionally, the last evening before disembarkation is celebrated as a cheerful get-together of the guests and the crew and tour guide.
After breakfast at 09:00 in the morning your beautiful journey ends with disembarkation.
Timetable and programme changes:
A Sail & Bike Tour always involves a bit of adventure: on this trip, only the embarkation and disembarkation harbours of Enkhuizen are 100% fixed in advance. The route to be travelled depends primarily on the weather and the tides and is determined from day to day. The route and the order of the individual stages are therefore always subject to change. The skipper and his crew discuss the possibilities with the guests on a daily basis and will do everything possible to offer you a varied mix of culture and nature. Let us surprise you!
SGR Guaranteefund:
For this trip, there is a fee of 5.00 euros per traveller for the SGR guarantee fund. This fee is mandatory for this trip and will be shown separately on the invoice.

Arrival by plane
Arriving by plane is the fastest, often cheapest and most comfortable way to get to Trogir. When booking your flight, please note that flights that land after 2:00 p.m. should only be booked in consultation with us. The nearest airport is Split (SPU). It is only 6 km away from the port in Trogir. To get from Split airport to the port in Trogir, we recommend using a taxi. A taxi ride costs around 20 euros. You can also use the regular bus number 37, which leaves right in front of the airport building towards Trogir and takes about 15 minutes. A bus ticket costs about 2.50 euros.
Parking options in Trogir:
In Trogir, we will be happy to organize a secure parking space for you on a private property near the port upon prior notification. Price on request, payable locally upon arrival. Please reserve the parking space in good time before you start your journey. Please note: There is no insurance in Croatia that insures your vehicle against theft and burglary in the parking spaces provided by us. Damage of this kind is only covered by the local comprehensive insurance. If you have booked a parking space, ask one of the tour guides at the ships when you arrive. He will guide you to a guide who will drive ahead of your car, guiding you safely to the parking lot. After you have parked your car, the pilot will take you back to the ship in his car.
Requirements
The tour is one of the lighter bike & boat tours in Croatia. The daily stages of 20 - 35 km lead through hilly and mountainous terrain (approx. 200 - 500 m ascent per day) and are cycled without time pressure. Steeper gradients only have to be overcome occasionally, but pushing them is definitely allowed. The roads are mostly paved and rarely used outside of the holiday season.
By arrangement with the tour guides, it is also possible to undertake individual cycle tours. Instead of a cycle tour, you can also take a half or full day of swimming on the boat.
On this trekking bike tour, the guided group pace is based on the trekking cyclists. If you rent an e-bike on a trekking tour, you are asked to be considerate of those who ride without electronic support. Trekking riders need more time and breaks when riding uphill.
Available rental bikes
There are 24-speed trekking bikes available as women's (medium step-up) and men's bikes, as well as unisex electric bikes with 11-speed derailleur gears and a low step-through step, or somewhat sportier unisex 9-speed hybrid e-bikes with a slightly higher step-through step.
The bikes are each equipped with an Ortlieb pannier.
Meals
The accompanying cook is a member of the crew and prepares an extensive breakfast and one or two warm meals every day. It starts with dinner on embarkation day and ends with breakfast on disembarkation day. Depending on the course of the tour, one or the other lunch meal can also consist of a packed lunch. One meal a day is taken ashore and is not included in the tour price.
Children
Basically, we are of the opinion that only children with good stamina and a minimum age of 10 years can complete the bike tours on their own. Please note that rental bikes can only be provided from a height of 1.20 m. For children under the age of 16 there is also a legal obligation to wear a helmet in Croatia. Children's helmets cannot be borrowed.
Taking your own e-bikes
It is not possible to take your own e-bike with you due to safety regulations on the ships and to protect the health of the tour guide. If you would like to ride an e-bike, we are happy to offer it to you for booking.
Helmet compulsory
Helmets are compulsory on our bike tours. Please bring your own, well-fitting helmet. A limited number of rental helmets are available for adults (reservation required in advance!). Children must bring their own helmets.
Extra costs that are not included in the tour price
Guaranteefund € 5.00 per person, will be shown separately on the invoice, flat rate for local fees and drinking water on board and on the bike tours (payable on site to the captain): 60 euros per adult or 30 euros per child up to and including 16 years.
Drinks on board, meals and drinks ashore, entrance fees to attractions, tips for crew and guide
Passport and visa requirements
For EU citizens, there are no special passport or visa requirements and no health formalities to be considered for this trip.
Travel insurance
We recommend that you take out travel cancellation insurance upon receipt of your travel confirmation in order to protect yourself against financial disadvantages in the event of travel cancellation, interruption of travel, illness or accident.
Velociped may cancel the tour up to the twenty-first day before the start of the tour if the minimum number of participants specified in the tour description is not reached. You will be informed immediately in the event of cancellation. Velociped will, of course, refund the paid tour price immediately. Please also refer to our general terms and conditions.
