Mecklenburg Lake District as a round trip or radial tour

The Mecklenburg Lake District was formed in Germany more than 20,000 years ago during the last ice age. The glaciers and their meltwater rivers shaped a varied landscape with a few small mountain ranges and numerous lakes. Among the largest lakes are Lake Müritz and Lake Plau in the heart of the Müritz National Park.
Many cycle paths now criss-cross the Mecklenburg Lake District. Most of our cycle tours take you along small asphalted country roads and unpaved forest, lakeside or cycle paths. Explore dreamy towns, picturesque villages and the many beautiful castles or manor houses with their magnificent parks on your cycle tours. Enjoy our ‘luggage transfer included’ service on our cycling tours, which makes the maritime views that the Mecklenburg Lake District has in store for you even more intense. Look forward to places right on the water, such as Waren, Plau or Röbel, and treat your palate to regional fish and game dishes along the way or in the comfort of your hotel at the end of your cycling tour.
