Tour

Individual arrival in the Baltic Sea community of Travemünde. Look forward to the charming beach promenade Vorderreihe, where ice cream parlors line up with boutiques. Visit the museum ship Viermastbark Passat, which was built in Hamburg in 1911, sailed around the world in 1938 and 1948, and rounded Cape Horn a total of 39 times. Now the Passat is firmly anchored in Travemünde harbor and invites you to take a tour. Conclude your first day with a leisurely dinner (included). If you have booked rental bikes, they are ready for you at the hotel.

Pedal hard first thing in the morning and get to Lübeck via Ovendorf, Pöllendorf and the state-approved iodine brine and mud spa Bad Schwartau. Look forward to the historic old town of Lübeck, which with the famous Holsten Gate, the brick Gothic and the imposing Lübeck Town Hall has been part of the World Cultural Heritage since 1987. After a worthwhile stroll through the old town surrounded by the harbor, moats and ponds with charming stores and quaint pubs, cycle back to the hotel on Timmendorfer Strand.

In the morning you take the train (included) to Plön. The town with the famous castle is charmingly located in the middle of the lake landscape of Holstein Switzerland. On today's bike tour you will discover charming places like Malente, Eutin, Ratekau and Warnsdorf. Visit the imposing Eutin Castle. The four-winged complex has a North German brick exterior with an entrance and south tower and offers a southern-style courtyard with a fountain. A moat around the building, which is located directly on the lake and surrounded by a spacious English landscape garden, makes the idyllic location perfect.

Today you follow the path parallel to the beach along the edge of the forest to Boltenhagen. On the way, don't miss a visit to the castle estate in Groß Schwansee, which dates back to 1745. You will then cycle via Warnkenhagen and Redewisch to the second oldest Baltic seaside resort of Boltenhagen. Enjoy a stroll along the spa promenade and recover from the bike tour on the beach. In the afternoon you will drive to Priwall, from where you will continue by ferry (not included) to the hotel.

Start the day early today and cycle via Warnsdorf and Hemmelsdorfer See to the most famous beach in Germany - Timmendorfer Strand. The beach offers finest white sand and crystal clear water. Let yourself be surprised by the special flair, because the entire town center is transformed into an open-air lounge already in the morning. Afterwards you cycle along noble beach villas to Niendorf, a typical Ostholsteiner fishing village with a picturesque fishing port. At the southwesternmost quay walls, weather-beaten fishing cutters moor just as much as flashing luxury yachts. Enjoy a mix of fish stalls, cafés, concerts and many vacationers. Your subsequent cycling route will take you back to Travemünde via the up to 20-meter-high Brodtener Steilufer.

Much too quickly passed the beautiful time. We would be happy to book you additional nights for individual adventures in Travemünde
