Denmark: Bornholm round trip from Rügen
tour description
Sunny paradise Bornholm
Enjoy Bornholm, the small Danish paradise for cyclists. Bornholm offers Scandinavian landscapes in miniature like a picture book. The complete island is subdued by bike paths. You cycle on bike trails along the coast line round the island. Only 40 km wide and 30 km long is Bornholm, but more varied than any other part of Denmark. Discover wonderful white beaches and dunes in the south and the wild granite cliffs in the north. The country is crossed by forests and heathens. On your bike you marvel at such important cultural treasures as the medieval castle ruins Hammershus or spectacular landscapes such as the Helligdomsklippen. Like pearls on a chain, Bornholm's picturesque towns and villages line up, almost all of them by the sea. They often shine in bright colors, showing a lot of half-timber and wonderful floral decoration.
