Tour

Arrive early and stroll through the lovely tranquil spa gardens of Bad Goisern.

In the morning, travel by train to Gmunden on Lake Traunsee. Take a walk through the pretty town and visit Orth Castle and the ceramic carillon in the town hall tower. Afterwards you cycle on the cycle path along the lake to Ebensee. Now follow the river Traun to Bad Ischl, where you will be enchanted by the former imperial town with its imperial villa and Sissi's teahouse. Enjoy a Zaunerstollen at the Zauner pastry shop and watch the hustle and bustle in the pedestrian zone. The rest of the way is not long and you will soon reach your hotel again.

In the morning a transfer brings you to Gosau. Here you have the opportunity to take a bike tour to the front  Lake Gosausee. Enjoy the wonderful view. The way back leads you along the Gosauriver to the Lake Hallstatt and further along the Traun back to Bad Goisern.

Set off early, because today offers some activities. First you cycle along the Traun to Bad Ischl and further along the Ischler Ache to the Lake Wolfgangsee. You will cycle to St. Wolfgang and should definitely not only visit the famous White Horse Inn and the Collegiate Church, but also take a ride on the rack railroad up the Schafberg. From here you have a wonderful view of Lake Wolfgangsee. A short ferry ride will take you to the other side of the lake and you will cycle back to the hotel via cycle path along the Nussensee lake.

Today you will visit the world heritage region of Lake Hallstatt. Here you have many possibilities to spend the day: the oldest salt mine in the world, the Dachstein ice caves or a comfortable boat trip are waiting for you. You cycle almost always along the lake shore and many sights are almost directly on the way.

You start by train to Bad Aussee. From here you will take a bike trip to the Grundlsee and the Toplitzsee. The stage also takes you to Lake Altaussee and so there are many swimming opportunities today. At the end of this relaxing day you will return to Bad Goisern by train.

Your beautiful cycling tour ends after breakfast at the hotel.

Please note, in season 2 + 3 (28th April - 28th September 2024) the trip can only be booked in conjunction with half board.
