Arrival by flight
You can fly to Rijeka Airport, which, like the port of embarkation Omisalj, is located on the island of Krk. Flight offers can be researched and booked at www.opodo.com or www.swoodoo.com or www.eurowings.com or www.tuifly.com, for example. If there are no flights to Rijeka, you can also fly to Zagreb Airport. We are happy to offer a transfer from the airport to the ship on embarkation day and a return transfer from the ship to the airport on disembarkation day. We will be able to inform you of the prices for this at the beginning of 2023, when the transfer can also be booked.
When booking your flight, please note that the ship usually departs Rijeka between 11:00 and 12:00. It may therefore be advisable to arrive in Rijeka a day earlier in order to embark the following day in a relaxed manner.
Arrival by car
From Frankfurt via Munich - Salzburg - Villach - Ljubljana - Koper to Pula and on to Rijeka. To enter Croatia, you will need your driver's license, vehicle registration document and the green insurance card for the vehicle. In Rijeka, we will be happy to organize a guarded long-term parking space for you by prior reservation. The parking lot costs approx. 70.00 euros per week and must be booked and paid for together with the tour.
Arrival by train
There is a good connection with the night train from Munich to Rijeka. This arrives in Rijeka at around 09:00. Please ask us for a transfer from the train station to the ship and back, the transfer price is also only fixed from the beginning of 2023 and on request.
Available rental bikes
There are 21-speed trekking bikes for men and women and electric bikes available. The bikes are each equipped with a pannier bag and a water bottle holder. You will also receive a bicycle helmet - please let us know your head circumference when booking.
Requirements
The cycling stages require participants to have a certain basic level of fitness, which regular cyclists have generally acquired. The routes are between 340 and 740 meters high. The daily stages of 20 - 55 km lead through hilly and mountainous terrain and are cycled without time constraints. Steeper or longer climbs are also to be mastered, but pushing is permitted. The tour guides will inform you in good time.
The roads are mostly asphalted and not very busy outside the vacation periods. Decide for yourself each day whether you want to cycle individually according to the maps or join one of the two tour guides.
Instead of a cycle tour, you can also take a half or full day of swimming on the boat. Helmets are compulsory for children under the age of 18 on the cycle tours. For safety reasons, we generally recommend wearing a helmet.
Children
Due to the challenging stages, we do not recommend this trip for children.
Up to the age of 14 years and in a triple cabin with 2 full-paying adults, we grant a child discount of 50%.
Changes
Cruises are subject to change due to weather, water levels or technical conditions. For this voyage, special cancellation conditions apply.

Drinks on board and tips for the tour guide and crew are not included. Tourist tax and local taxes of approx. 35 euros are payable on board, payable to the captain (children up to and including 11 years: 17 euros).
Passport and visa requirements
For EU citizens, there are no special passport or visa requirements or health formalities to be observed for this trip.

In addition, we recommend that you take out travel cancellation insurance after receiving your travel confirmation in order to protect yourself against financial disadvantages in the event of cancellation, curtailment, illness or accident.
