Cycling and rafting on croatian Islands
This adventure Cruise in Southern Dalmatia is a family-friendly island hopping in particular. Spend a week on board of a charming motor glider that will take you from island to island. Instead of staying in full harbors, you'll spend the night in quiet bays. Decide every day anew, whether you would like to take a short bike or hiking tour, make a rafting trip, stroll extensively in a unique harbor town of the Adriatic or just relax on board. Explore southern Dalmatia, one of the most beautiful regions of Croatia. The islands of Brac, Korcula, Vis and Hvar are just as much interesting as the historic harbor town of Trogir. On board is a tour guide, who will show you how to enjoy your day active or relaxed. He will tell you little stories and legends about the UNESCO protected cultural treasures of Croatia. Besides you will have wonderful opportunities to jump off the boat right into the sea.

In the morning we can take part on an adventurous bike tour which takes us past the old military tunnels which crisscross the island, on our way to the fortress of St. George which played a significant role in the seafaring history of the island. Once back at the boat we cruise towards the harbor of Vela Luka on the island of Korčula, stopping for a swim break from the boat on the way.
3. day Island Hvar
We go on a morning crossing to Hvar Island with its island capital Hvar town. After arrival we take a city tour across the large Renaissance Square which is surrounded by the cathedral and many late gothic palaces. We are able to hike to the Spanish fortress that towers above the town. From here we have a fabulous view onto the city and the surrounding islands. With lunch on board, we cast off from Hvar and anchor in the Pakleni Islands for a lengthy swim stop. In the afternoon we lift the anchor and cruise to the city of Stari Grad on the island of Hvar, where we will spend the night.
4. day Island of Hvar and Brač ca. 13 km oder 25 km
In the morning we cruise to the famous ‘Golden Horn’ Beach in Bol on the island of Brač where the ship lowers its anchor for the morning. Here we can choose between a variety of activities both in the water and on land (not included in the tour price) or just enjoy the summer morning swimming and chilling on deck. During lunch on board, we cruise to the town of Jelsa on the island of Hvar where we can enjoy a bike tour along the beautiful seafront promenade through Vrboska, past the UNESCO Stari Grad Plains. Decide for yourself if you wish to do a longer or shorter version of the cycle tour. Enjoy the evening on board with a captains dinner and celebrate a successful day!

The morning is spent on board enjoying a longer cruise to Lovrečina Bay on the island of Brač. Once we have arrived, big and small islandhoppers are invited to a game of beach Olympics in the bay. In the afternoon a 1.5 hour hike along the coast brings us to Postira. Here the sunset can be enjoyed on one of the many cafes or bars
6. day Cetina Canyon - Omis - Split
During breakfast the boat brings us to Omiš, where we have the choice to either go rafting through the canyon (not included in the tour price) or to take a hike up to the pirate fortress high above the city. In the afternoon the boat brings us to the bustling city of Split. We enjoy an exciting tour through the UNESCO old town, built within the palace walls of the roman Emperor Diocletian. The night is spent in Split.
7. day Island of Šolta – Trogir ca. 8km
In the first half of the day we can cycle on the island of Šolta to Goran, a local beekeeper to participate in an interactive workshop on bees, their purpose, products and the life of a beekeeper. Goran is an expert in capturing the fascination of young and old with the enthusiasm he has for the bees which he keeps. We return to Rogač where the boat waits. Lunch will be enjoyed on board during the last crossing by boat for the week as the captain charters his course back to Trogir. Along the way the anchor is droped for an enjoyable dip in the Adria directly from the boat. In the afternoon we enjoy Trogir by taking a walk through the UNESCO protected old town. Arrival by plane
Traveling by plane is the fastest, cheapest and most convenient way to get to Trogir. The nearest airport is Split (SPU). It is only 6 km from the port in Trogir. To get from Split airport to the port in Trogir, we recommend using a taxi. A taxi ride costs about 20 euros. You can also take bus number 37, which departs directly in front of the airport in the direction of Trogir and takes about 15 minutes (approx. 1,50 Euro, only kuna accepted).
You can book flight offers at www.opodo.com, www.skyscanner.com or www.swoodoo.com. If you can not find a suitable flight to Split, it is possible to fly to Dubrovnik or Zadar from where we can offer you an individual transfer (on request).
Arrival by car
Munich - Salzburg (130 km), Salzburg - Villach (180 km), Villach - Ljubljana (100 km), Ljubljana - Rijeka (130 km): Motorway behind Ljubljana until you reach exit Kozina. Follow the road to Rijeka.
From Rijeka to Trogir: along the main road to Senj, then turn off towards the motorway to Split (300 km, about 5 hours).
Parking in Trogir:
In Trogir we gladly organize a secure permanent parking space on a private property at the port. The parking lot is 40 euros per week and payable on site. Please register in good time before the start of your trip. If you have booked a parking space, please ask one of the guides at the ships. He will lead you to a pilot that drives your car and guides you safely to the parking lot. After you have parked your car, the pilot will bring you back to the ship with his car. There is no insurance policy in Croatia that insures your vehicle against theft and burglary in our parking lots. Damages of this kind are only covered by the domestic liability insurance.
Arrival by train
The railway station of Rijeka is very close to the port, approx. 1 km to the ferry, which can be easily reached on foot. There are also luggage carriers in the train station, which carry your bags with handcarts to the ferry for about 3 euros per baggage. In front of the station you also find a taxi stand. Besides there is a luggage storage at the train station for those arriving earlier. From the ferry port in Split, take a bus or taxi to Trogir (about 20 km or 30 min.). The return journey by ferry and train can only start on Sunday (for the accommodation from Saturday to Sunday there are always rooms at this time of year in Trogir), as the ferry only goes to Rijeka on Sunday evening. Please inform yourself about the current train and driving times at www.bahn.de or in your travel agency. Please note that it is not possible to take your own bike from Munich to Rijeka by night train.

Trogir - a true pearl on the Dalmatian coast! The historic city center is home to many historic buildings and the Old Town is a UNESCO World Heritage site.
Close to the island of Vis is an unspoiled natural attraction, the green grotto. Through a small opening in the ceiling arch, sun rays give the sea a magical green color. Visit the cave by boat or simply swim into it.
The island of Korcula has numerous small secluded beaches and bays and is rich in culture and art. The capital of the island is a typical medieval city. In the old part of Korcula the famous world traveler Marco Polo was born.
Beach Zlatni Rat
The unique beach at the top of the island of Brac is considered one of the most popular beaches in Croatia. It permanently changes its shape depending on the tides so that its tip can point in different directions.
