Cycling and rafting on croatian Islands

This adventure Cruise in Southern Dalmatia is a family-friendly island hopping in particular. Spend a week on board of a charming motor glider that will take you from island to island. Instead of staying in full harbors, you'll spend the night in quiet bays. Decide every day anew, whether you would like to take a short bike or hiking tour, make a rafting trip, stroll extensively in a unique harbor town of the Adriatic or just relax on board. Explore southern Dalmatia, one of the most beautiful regions of Croatia. The islands of Brac, Korcula, Vis and Hvar are just as much interesting as the historic harbor town of Trogir. On board is a tour guide, who will show you how to enjoy your day active or relaxed. He will tell you little stories and legends about the UNESCO protected cultural treasures of Croatia. Besides you will have wonderful opportunities to jump off the boat right into the sea.

Highlights

Trogir
Trogir - a true pearl on the Dalmatian coast! The historic city center is home to many historic buildings and the Old Town is a UNESCO World Heritage site.

Trogir

Green Cave
Close to the island of Vis is an unspoiled natural attraction, the green grotto. Through a small opening in the ceiling arch, sun rays give the sea a magical green color. Visit the cave by boat or simply swim into it.

Green Cave

Korcula Island
The island of Korcula has numerous small secluded beaches and bays and is rich in culture and art. The capital of the island is a typical medieval city. In the old part of Korcula the famous world traveler Marco Polo was born.

Korcula

Beach Zlatni Rat
The unique beach at the top of the island of Brac is considered one of the most popular beaches in Croatia. It permanently changes its shape depending on the tides so that its tip can point in different directions.

tour

Individual arrival by car to Trogir or by plane to Split airport, which is about 6 km/3.5 mi. away from the harbour of Trogir. After check in on the motor yacht (at around 2:30 pm) the first cruise starts around 3 pm from Trogir to the Island of Vis. On the way we have the opportunity to take a refreshing swim from the boat. The first night is spent on the Island of Vis.

In the morning you will embark on an exciting bike tour on Vis, which will take you past a system of tunnels laid out by Tito and stretching across the entire island to the fortress of St. George, which played an important role in the history of Vis' seafaring. Upon your return on board, your ship weighs anchor and heads towards the island of Hvar, finally stopping in a beautiful bay. Here you take a long swim in the Adriatic Sea and then spend a peaceful night under the stars.

We go on a morning crossing to Hvar Island with its island capital Hvar town. After arrival we take a city tour across the large Renaissance Square which is surrounded by the cathedral and many late gothic palaces. We are able to hike to the Spanish fortress that towers above the town. From here we have a fabulous view onto the city and the surrounding islands. With lunch on board, we cast off from Hvar and anchor in the Pakleni Islands for a lengthy swim stop. In the afternoon we cruise to the city of Stari Grad on the island of Hvar.

Today we cruise to the famous ‘Golden Horn’ Beach in Bol on the island of Brač. Here we can choose between a variety of activities both in the water and on land (not included in the tour price) or just enjoy the summer morning swimming and chilling on deck. During lunch on board, we cruise to the town of Jelsa on the island of Hvar where we can enjoy a bike tour along the beautiful seafront promenade through Vrboska, past the UNESCO Stari Grad Plains. Decide for yourself if you wish to do a longer or shorter version of the cycle tour. Enjoy the evening on board with a captains dinner and celebrate a successful day!

Spend the morning completely on board with a longer crossing to Lovrečina on the island of Brač. On the beach of Lovrečina, all small and big island hoppers are later invited to a varied beach Olympics and extensive bathing fun. In the afternoon you can expect a 1.5 hour hike along the coast to Postira. Here you can later end an eventful day in one of the cozy bars at the port.

While you have breakfast, the ship takes you to Split, where today you have the choice, after a bus transfer, to take part in a rafting tour (not included in the tour price) on the Cetina or to join a walk on the Marjan mountain, which is the most popular local recreation area is the resident of Split. Afterwards there is time for an extensive bathing break with some games on the beach. In the afternoon, take an exciting tour of the UNESCO-protected old town of Split, which was built into the famous palace of the Roman Emperor Diocletian.

In the first half of the day we can cycle on the island of Šolta to Goran, a local beekeeper to participate in an interactive workshop on bees, their purpose, products and the life of a beekeeper. Goran is an expert in capturing the fascination of young and old with the enthusiasm he has for the bees which he keeps. We return to Rogač where the boat waits. Lunch will be enjoyed on board during the last crossing by boat for the week as the captain charters his course back to Trogir. Along the way the anchor is droped for an enjoyable dip in the Adria directly from the boat. In the afternoon we enjoy Trogir by taking a walk through the UNESCO protected old town. Traditionally the last evening before disembarkation is spent cheerfully with guests, crew and guides.

After breakfast disembarkation until 9 AM and individual trip home or extended stay.

If the cabins are occupied by three, we grant a third person (e.g. a child) a 50% discount on the basic tour price. If the cabin is above deck, we do not charge a surcharge above deck for the third person. A four-person cabin is also possible (only below deck with an additional mattress).

To get from Split airport to the port in Trogir, we recommend using a taxi. A taxi ride costs around 25 euros. You can also use the regular bus number 37, which leaves right in front of the airport building towards Trogir and takes about 15 minutes. A bus ticket costs about 2.50 euros per person.

If you cannot find a suitable flight to Split, you have the option of flying to Dubrovnik or Zadar as an alternative, from where we can offer you an individual transfer (on request). You can research and book flight offers for example at:

Opodo

Skyscanner

Arrival by car

Munich - Salzburg (130 km), Salzburg - Villach (180 km), Villach - Ljubljana (100 km), Ljubljana - Rijeka (130 km): Motorway behind Ljubljana to the Kozina exit, then continue on the country road to Rijeka. Parking options in Trogir:

In Trogir, we will be happy to organize a secure parking space for you on a private property near the port upon prior notification. Parking costs 70 euros per week, payable locally upon arrival. Please reserve the parking space in good time before you start your journey. Please note: There is no insurance in Croatia that insures your vehicle against theft and burglary in the parking spaces provided by us. Damage of this kind is only covered by the local comprehensive insurance. If you have booked a parking space, ask one of the tour guides at the ships when you arrive. He will guide you to a guide who will drive ahead of your car, guiding you safely to the parking lot. After you have parked your car, the pilot will take you back to the ship in his car.
