A bike holiday with many highlights is waiting for you in northern Poland! Discover Gdansk, pearl of the Baltic Sea. Follow phantastic bike routes through almost untouched nature. Visit dunes like in the desert, colourful lighthouses, picture-postcard beaches, lonely forests and silent lakes. The evenings are atmospheric, with campfires, accordion music and a Kaszubskie folk dance group. Your friendly and competent tour guides will bring you closer to the hospitality, pride and history of northern Poland.
Individual arrival. After meeting your guide at the hotel at 3 p.m. you will start a guided tour through the old Hanseatic town of Gdansk with the impressive Marienkirche, the biggest brickstone cathedral in the world (room for 25.000 people). In the evening you have dinner in a restaurant in the old city centre of Danzig.
After a short transfer by train you start your bike stage in Lebork. You cycle along picturesque villages on quiet asphalted side roads to Leba. What a nice start! The town in the dunes has a fishing harbour and is also a seaside resort. In the afternoon you cycle to Stilo to enjoy the splendid view from the lighthouse and go for a wonderful walk (4 km) along the beach.
Today you cycle to one of the most beautiful national parks in Poland, the Slowinski national park. After getting on the famous dunes you will be rewarded with a wonderful view! Get into the cool wet - you now have the option to go for a swim in the Baltic Sea and maybe you find an amber stone.... A bus takes you back to the hotel comfortably in the late afternoon.
You are taken by bus to the open-air museum where you dive into the original life and stroll through a typical Kaszubskie village. By bike you roll through beautiful fields and forests, along many lakes to Bytów. High above the town, the Ordensburg castle is enthroned.
Look forward to today's bike route! You cycle on field and forest routes through a very attractive area – over little hills, past glistening lakes and through lonely forests. You spend the night in Bytow again.
Today you start your route in Upilka. From here you cycle through charming villages to Szcezcinek. Refresh yourself before having dinner by jumping into the wonderful cool water of the Trzesiecko lake.
Through fragrant pinewoods, along hills and past many lakes you cyle through the attractive Szczecineckie lake area and pass the Drawski countryside park. You also walk through Borne Sulimowo, hidden in the forest, where the Soviet army had their Polish main seat for 50 years.
Soon you reach Czaplinek, after only a few kilometres. Visit this town with 13.000 inhabitants, which is idyllically located on a small isthmus between the Drawska and Czaplino lake. A program for relaxation is still waiting for you: go for a walk, go swimming, have a picknick and dinner in a romantic atmosphere – at a campfire with accordion music.
A new highlight is coming up! After a bus ride you paddle down the wonderful Drawa river. You see beautyful heath and forest landscapes during this picturesque trip before reaching Tuczno by bike.
After breakfast you go to Kostrzyn by bus and then by train to Berlin. Your bike journey ends in Berlin Lichtenberg railway station at about 1:30 p.m..
