The most sought after river cruise and the most popular river for biking trips in Europe as a double feature! Go on the trip of your dreams and enjoy the comfort provided by a cruiser on your bike trip. After riding along the Danube’s river banks on the corresponding bike trails during the day, you will meet your cruiser again in the late afternoon and spend the night in the next harbour. You are invited to enjoy live music in a cosy atmosphere on board or to explore the port alternatively. Should you wish to take a break from biking, you are welcome to relax on board for a day and to reach the next harbour without any effort.
Your swimming hotel is a cosy river cruiser with style and comfort. It offers a restaurant, a bar, a Café and 2 partly covered sundecks with sun chairs and sun loungers. Here you can let the scenery pass by while spending a day on board. The outer cabins measure 9 to 10 m² and are equipped with air condition, TV, toilet and shower. The cabins on the upper deck additionally have a panorama view window you can open.
We recommend early arrival as visiting Passau pays off! Your boat is lying close to the old town where the rivers Danube, Inn and Ilz flow together. A great scenery right at the beginning of your tour!

The beautiful Danube bike trail leads you past peaceful villages to the order of Engelhartszell which really is worth viewing. The Trappists distil exquisite schnapps and liqueurs here. Do you wish to taste? Be looking forward to the highlight of the day: On board of a small ferry you will enjoy a cruise through the famous "Schlögener Schlinge", a U-turn of the Danube. The "Theodor Körner" brings you from the village Obermühl to Linz. With the yellow city express you have the chance to explore Linz at night.
A nice and varied route lies ahead of you. Should you prefer a relaxing program, you can ship to Au first to discover the idyllic hinterland from there: The Celtic village in Mitterkirchen, the baroque order in Baumgartenberg and the romantic castle in Clam. You can now look forward to visiting Grein, a city with medieval flair and baroque facades a mighty castle and the oldest theatre of Austria.
What a beautiful biking day! You will be rolling through the narrow Strudengau and the gentle Nibelungengau to Melk. The magnificent baroque Benedictine order has been a cultural and intellectual centre for more than 1000 years – a visit here is an absolute must! After sunset an evocative trip of lights through the Wachau landscape awaits you.
Your route will guide you to the baroque magnificent building of the foundation of Klosterneuburg. Its 900 years old dome can already be made out from the distance. You can be looking forward to visit the altar of Verdun, one of the highlights of medieval goldsmith’s works. After making your way through the vineyards, you will be able to enjoy a wonderful view over Vienna from the terraces of the Kahlenberg.
A very special event! Visit Vienna by bike (voluntary) on its extended bike trails in about 3,5 hours. Afterwards there will be free time for visits of the Emperial Palace (Hofburg) and the Sissi museum etc.. In the evening a visit of the 'Heurigen' in Nußdorf or a concert in the Kursalon is tempting (voluntary).
The last and the most beautiful stage of your biking trip lies ahead now! Your way leads you along the old wine route through the beautiful and famous Wachau (UNESCO world heritage) with an uncountable number of historical buildings and castles. On the way, in the middle of vineyards and gardens you'll find the so called 'Heurigen'. In one of those taverns you should try local food and local wines. In the evening a gala-dinner and a folklore show is waiting for you.
Enjoy the phantastic landscape of the "Schlögener Schlinge" and the scenic view approaching Passau on board your ship. You leave the ship about 12:30 a.m. after arriving at Passau.
